My ultimate goal is to establish Great Haven Homes, non-profit group homes for young adults leaving foster care. These homes will offer a supportive springboard to independence, with volunteers teaching life skills like budgeting, job seeking, and education options. Residents will be empowered to pursue their goals, all while building a foundation for a bright future.

Hi there, I'm Iris Brown!
I'm driven by a desire to make a positive impact before my time is up. As a former foster child who eventually found a loving adoptive home, I understand the challenges life throws our way, especially when faced alone.
Whether it's a sudden job loss, a health crisis, an unexpected tragedy, a pandemic, or any other curveball life throws, sometimes we all need a helping hand.
My wake-up call came in December 2023. After dedicating myself to a Texas company, I was unexpectedly laid off. It was a tough pill to swallow, but after some self-reflection, I vowed to never again be defined by a number on a corporate spreadsheet.
My passion for helping others, particularly aging foster teens, led me to real estate. This path allows me to fulfill my mission of helping families and individuals achieve the dream of homeownership. Whether facing foreclosure, loss due to COVID, or struggling to find decent affordable housing, I'm here to support them.
As I embark on this journey, I know I'll need help, guidance, and support. I'm looking for clients, potential partners, and even opportunities to acquire vacant or abandoned properties. But most importantly, I'm looking to build a network of like-minded individuals who share my commitment to making a difference.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
